Small classes facilitate one-on-one instruction Senior projects and internships provide hands-on experience Experienced faculty advise and mentor students to prepare them for fire science careers or graduate school
The Fire Science program focuses on the history of fire protection, practices, and problems of fire suppression. It also covers fire and arson investigations, which include the methods and mechanics of protecting, searching and controlling a fire scene.
Upon completion of the program, you should be armed with the knowledge and practical skills to pursue a career in the fire science field.
