在這里學(xué)什么？
This interdisciplinary course allows you to investigate the creative relationships between and within theories, methods and practices in the fields of art, design and architecture. Join a vibrant research-led practice School with a team established at International level through participation in conference committees, research networks and grants, juries and editorial boards.
By breaking through the traditional boundaries of media and digital art, spatial and environmental design, and architecture, the course teaches you to embed theory in critical practice and to build a research career with skills vital in academia and creative industries alike.
The ResM can be studied either full or part time. You will take two taught modules, one relating to your area of research and 'Research in the Arts and Humanities', and attend individual tutorials with your supervisor and regular research seminars, leading to either a written thesis or one combining critical writing with creative/professional practice. We may also agree together that you should take other or additional modules or engage in specific training opportunities.
Overseas applicants must submit their application 4.5 months prior to the proposed programme start date. For Home/EU applicants the deadline is 2.5 months prior to the proposed programme start date. There are three possible start dates per year, 1 October, 1 January and 1 April.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students need bachelor’s degree (with high grades), a master’s degree from a ranked Chinese university or a good honours degree from a British university. They need Chinese degree classification - prestigious institution: 70% for 2:2 UK degree equivalent; 75% for 2:1 UK degree equivalent; 80% for 1st UK degree equivalent. In Chinese degree classification - non-prestigious institution they need 75% for 2:2 UK degree equivalent; 80% for 2:1 UK degree equivalent; 85% for 1st UK degree equivalent. In Chinese degree classification - college institution they need 80% for 2:2 UK degree equivalent; 85% for 2:1 UK degree equivalent; and 90% for 1st UK degree equivalent. Postgraduate programmes: ILETS 6.5 overall with Minimum component scores 5.5 in all four components (listening, reading, speaking and writing).
