在這里學什么？ You will be part of the Industry 4.0 revolution; faster innovation and adoption of industrial digital technologies could be as much as ￡455 billion for UK manufacturing over the next decade, creating near 175,000 jobs. Industries from a range of sectors, including mechanical engineering design, architectural technology and construction, or product design and fabrication, require a new, innovative, and highly skilled professional. This course invites you to explore, learn and apply state-of-the-art digital design, modelling and digital fabrication competences in high-value industrial sectors. Based in our main campus in Plymouth, you will study in an emerging region for the creative and manufacturing industries. You will benefit from our newly developed facilities for digital fabrication and immersive visualisation addressing challenging problem-solving scenarios in the cognate fields of mechanical engineering, architectural technology, architecture, and product design. As a result, the programme develops a broad skillset applicable to a range of careers in industry that require both creative thinking as well as digital and technological competences. Upon graduation you will be able to contribute to the design, creative or manufacturing sectors. Our multidisciplinary curriculum, developed in partnership between the School of Art, Design and Architecture and the School of Engineering, is tailored to enable your professional interests to develop through project-based work supported by industry partners, academics and researchers. We offer alternative BA and BSc awards for students interested on cross-sectorial professional development, as well as potential continuity to post-graduate courses such as MA/MSc Integrated Design Innovation. Specifically, this BA award focuses on the development of design thinking skills and creative approaches and methods to problem-solving in industrial environments.The course offers an optional placement year in industry between years 2 and 3, as well as contents aiming at developing your entrepreneurial, professional and business skills.

為來自中國的學生設計 Students need good grades in Senior High School Graduation Examination and the Chinese University Entrance Examination (Gaokao) for admission to year 1. Students need to have completed the Graduation Certificate - Specialist / Sub-degree (Zuanke) level (also known as the Dazhuan) will be considered for final year (top-up) entry. We generally require an overall 70 per cent grade or above but this will vary depending on the institution. Undergraduate programmes: ILETS 6.0 overall with Minimum component scores 5.5 in all four components (listening, reading, speaking and writing).
