The Master of Engineering degree is a non-thesis, 36-semester-hour program designed to suit the needs of the practicing engineer in one of the engineering disciplines in the College.
Degree Requirements
- All College of Graduate Studies general degree requirements
- A minimum of 30 semester hours of electives which may include: MEEN 5325 Finite Element Analysis with ANSYS; MEEN 5326 Control of Mechanical Systems; MEEN 5335 Mechanical Vibrations; MEEN 5389 CAD Solid Modeling; MEEN 5311 Energy Conversion Systems; MEEN 5313 Optimizations of Thermal Systems; MEEN 5323 Advanced Heat Transfer and Applications; MEEN 5350 Turbomachinery; MEEN 5362 Energy Engineering; MEEN 5367 Intro. to CFD; MEEN 5330 Two Phase Flow and Heat Transfer. Other courses approved by department graduate advisor may satisfy part of this requirement
- Satisfactory completion of a final comprehensive examination
