This program leads to the M.S. in Education and both New York State Initial and Professional Certificates in Middle Childhood Education with a specialization in teaching mathematics (grades 5-9). This option leads to New York State Professional Certification in Middle Childhood Education with a specialization in teaching mathematics (grades 5-9) or to Professional Certification for holders of Initial Certification in another area.
