All of the following: Television and Radio 1165, 2265, 2420, 2616, 4430W. Two of the following: Television and Radio 3841 or 3861, or 3871, or 3951. One of the following: Speech 1619 or 1714 or 1715 or 2623. Six additional credits in Television and Radio Department courses numbered 2000 and higher. An additional 6 credits of advanced course work in any department or area other than the departments in the School of Visual, Media, and Performing Arts. These credits must be approved by Television and Radio faculty. Students may not offer more than six credits for a baccalaureate degree from Television and Radio 4175, 4176, 4177, 4578 and 4870. All the required courses used to meet these degree requirements must be completed with a grade of C or higher.

Student Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
- Articulate the connections between the historical development of media genres, technologies, industries, policies, audiences, and practices and contemporary media environments.
- Recognize, articulate, and practice ethical principles of communication that are grounded in self-reflection and critical thinking about one's own cultural perspective.
- Articulate and assess how the aesthetic principles of visual, aural, and computational media are informed by the differing use and impact of content across media and platforms.
Skills
- Employ professional standards for writing, visual and aural communication in all assignments.
- Gather, analyze, critically assess, and organize information from a range of sources in an ethical and civically responsible manner.
- Work collaboratively to design and execute innovative analytic and expressive projects in a multiplicity of media forms.
