The department Chair, with the approval of the chair of the department's curriculum committee, may allow substitutions for one or more course requirements, consistent with the educational goals of our program.
All of the following: Philosophy 3105, 3320, 3410, 3703, 3704, 3740.
Philosophy 3203 or 3210.
One of the following: Philosophy 3306 through 3317 or 3720.
Student Learning Outcomes
Analytic skills: Reasoning ability, critical thinking, judgmental skill Interpretive skills: Ability to analyze selections from philosophical texts, philosophical theories, issues, arguments Values skills: Ability to explain moral/aesthetic criteria and evaluate moral/aesthetic claim.
