Luckily, teachers certified to teach English to non-English speakers can help. Preparation for freshman candidates should include the following: English: 4 units, Social Studies: 4 units, Mathematics: 3-4 units, Science: 3-4 units, Foreign Language: 3-4 units. English Language Requirements: TOEFL - 79; IELTS - Band 6.5; EIKEN, Pre-1.
