Begin your career in the healthcare field through the accelerated Physician Assistant Science program at Saint Francis University.
Saint Francis University offers two pathways for admission to the Physician Assistant Program. Applicants may be accepted as a five-year student or graduate students. The majority of the Program’s students enter through the five-year track. The number of seats available for graduate students is limited and based on the number of five-year students that meet progression standards.
During the final two years of the program, you will be immersed in medicine. In the first year of this phase you will participate in a variety of half-day clinical experiences, such as the operating room, emergency room, a rehabilitation center or an ophthalmology office. During the second-year students may have the opportunity to complete rotations throughout the United States, as well as internationally.
Physician Assistants are health care professionals licensed to practice medicine with physician supervision. Common services provided by a PA include taking medical histories and performing physical examinations; ordering and interpreting lab tests; diagnosing and treating illnesses; assisting in surgery; prescribing medication; and counseling patients. Being a physician assistant is both rewarding and challenging.

Applicants who have not completed four years of high school must submit a High School Equivalent Diploma (GED) issued by their state department of education. English Language scores: IELTS: 6.5, iTEP: 4.0+, TOEFL IBT: 80, TOEFL PBT: 550.
