The SRU Master of Education in Environmental Education program is designed specifically for teachers who want the world to be their classroom. Students in the program address state and national guidelines for environmental education in their lessons and assist school districts in meeting these recommendations. A K-12 Pennsylvania Certification in Environmental Education can be achieved through this program.
DESCRIPTION
Ideal for working educators who possess teaching certification and desire a program of study oriented to non-formal educational settings, SRU's Master of Education in Environmental Education program consists of 30 credits offered exclusively online. Since environmental education is frequently integrated into the curriculum (rather than addressed as a separate subject), this program helps educators develop key teaching competencies while increasing their understanding of societal interactions with ecological systems.

English language requirements: Applicants must score a minimum of 79 on the internet based test (IBT); Applicants must receive an overall IELTS score of a 6.5 or higher. ELS Schools official score report with a 112 result or higher.
