The Psychology 3+2 Pre-Student Affairs is an accelerated program that enables you to complete the undergraduate courses required to begin graduate study in 3 years. It prepares you for a career in services to college students by providing a strong basis in the biopsychosocial processes of human functioning. You will receive personal attention and gain insightful knowledge through activities both inside and outside of the classroom. Our goal is to not only prepare you for a future career, but also to enhance your personal, academic, and professional growth so you can go on to promote the well-being of others.
WHY CHOOSE PSYCHOLOGY PRE-STUDENT AFFAIRS 3+2?
The program is an accelerated preparation for graduate study in Student Affairs in Higher Education. Careers in Student Affairs involve counseling-focused positions at colleges and universities, including mental health counseling as well as housing and residence life, career services, student activities, multicultural student services, academic advising, judicial affairs, international student services, financial aid, and Greek life.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
Courses are blocked to ensure you will receive preparation in all areas of Psychology, consistent with the biopsychosocial model used in counseling. After completing the core required courses, you will choose electives in each of the following areas:
- Applied Psychology
- Biobehavioral Psychology
- Developmental Psychology
- Diversity
During your final year, you will also complete a professional competency course in either research or community practice.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) International applicants who have not enrolled in any post secondary institution since graduating high school should apply as freshmen. Advanced standing may be considered for those students who have completed IB programs, GCE A-levels (advanced or advanced subsidiary) examinations. English language requirements: Applicants must score a minimum of 61 on the internet based test (iBT), a minimum of 500 on the written test or a minimum of a 173 on the computer based test. Applicants must receive an overall IELTS score at band 6.0 or above.
