Developmental psychology is the study of human growth and change. Developmental Psychology will teach you to understand how humans learn, mature, and adapt-touching on physical, mental, emotional, intellectual, and social changes and milestones. This program is unique to the region and will prepare you to continue your education in psychology or to start your career working in clinical practice, research, and service agencies.

If you have an interest and passion for understanding how people change and evolve over time, SRU's Developmental Psychology program will lay the foundation for a rewarding career.. This program allows you to focus on human development through classes, hands-on experience, fieldwork, and research. The coursework and experiential learning in this program meets recommendations from the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the Pennsylvania Early Childhood Mental Health Advisory Committee, and the American Psychological Association.

Through the Developmental Psychology program at SRU, you'll gain knowledge and skills required to work in areas like social services, early childhood intervention, residential care, and nursing home care. You'll develop the background for careers such as:

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 International applicants who have not enrolled in any post secondary institution since graduating high school should apply as freshmen. Advanced standing may be considered for those students who have completed IB programs, GCE A-levels (advanced or advanced subsidiary) examinations. English language requirements: Applicants must score a minimum of 61 on the internet based test (iBT), a minimum of 500 on the written test or a minimum of a 173 on the computer based test. Applicants must receive an overall IELTS score at band 6.0 or above.
