The online RN to BSN program at Slippery Rock University is designed to meet the needs of Registered Nurses looking to earn their B.S. in Nursing degree. In the program, you'll develop critical thinking skills for clinical decision-making, prepare to collaborate in multidisciplinary work, shift focus from care of individuals within a community to the health of a community, refine professional communication, and develop leadership skills.
The program is completely online and accessible 24/7. Most classes are offered in 7-? week sessions, providing flexibility in managing academic and work schedule demands-an ideal component for the working adult student. Our scheduling options also enable you to complete the program in a short time frame.

Our nursing program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and SRU is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The RN to BSN program at SRU was one of the first regionally accredited nursing programs to transition to the online format. As a result, our faculty bring considerable expertise to online learning.

Classes in the program include Social Media and Healthcare, Health Care Informatics, and Medical/Health Care Ethics. What's more, the program combines courses with extensive fieldwork to give students hands-on experience. As a RN to BSN student, you also have the opportunity to join Lamba Tau Chapter, Sigma Theta Tau.

中國(guó)學(xué)生入學(xué)要求
為來自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) International applicants who have not enrolled in any post secondary institution since graduating high school should apply as freshmen. Advanced standing may be considered for those students who have completed IB programs, GCE A-levels (advanced or advanced subsidiary) examinations. English language requirements: Applicants must score a minimum of 61 on the internet based test (iBT), a minimum of 500 on the written test or a minimum of a 173 on the computer based test. Applicants must receive an overall IELTS score at band 6.0 or above.
