These are the types of questions you might examine in the Global Studies program as you study how human societies are organized, and how they relate to the natural environment.
WHY CHOOSE GEOGRAPHY: GLOBAL STUDIES?
If you want to study how social and cultural practices shape the natural environment, the Global Studies program at Slippery Rock University is a perfect fit for you. Through this program, you will gain a well-rounded understanding of the economic, political, social, and cultural processes that we experience every day.
The Global Studies major will expose you to new places and expand your horizons. Classroom experiences might take you to the coal country of West Virginia, Aboriginal Australian mythic sites, or the Hello Kitty theme park in Japan. Numerous opportunities for field excursions to places like Yellowstone National Park, Newfoundland, or even China will broaden your knowledge of our world.

When you graduate with a degree in Global Studies, you will be able to:

為來自中國的學生設計 International applicants who have not enrolled in any post secondary institution since graduating high school should apply as freshmen. Advanced standing may be considered for those students who have completed IB programs, GCE A-levels (advanced or advanced subsidiary) examinations. English language requirements: Applicants must score a minimum of 61 on the internet based test (iBT), a minimum of 500 on the written test or a minimum of a 173 on the computer based test. Applicants must receive an overall IELTS score at band 6.0 or above.
