Our Integrated Marketing Communication program is new and unique, reflecting changes in the marketing communication landscape. Working with professors with professional experience in their fields, the IMC degree provides applied coursework in public relations and marketing, and allows the student to select a concentration area in advertising and publication design or new and social media. With the opportunity to participate in a variety of relevant student organizations and up to four internships for credit, IMC students graduate with a portfolio of work that will demonstrate a wide range of proficiencies to potential employers.

The Integrated Marketing Communication curriculum prepares you to perform consumer research, strategic planning, message creation and product branding through a variety of media platforms and in different settings. Developed through market research, the new program received the strong endorsement of our professional Advisory Board to meet a growing demand for technically savvy graduates with integrated skill capability to implement multi-media and social media marketing programs.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
When you choose to major in Integrated Marketing Communication, you will benefit from a new interdisciplinary program that pulls together project-based coursework in Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Social Media, and Graphic Design. You will be able to choose up to four internship opportunities in areas of your interest to further your professional development. In addition, the Senior Capstone Seminar will ease your transition from student to professional, offering career preparation and job search skills.
CAREERS IN INTEGRATED MARKETING COMMUNICATION
The job outlook in IMC is great! According to U.S. Department of Labor projections, job opportunities for Integrated Marketing Specialists are expected to grow by nearly 25% over the next decade, more than doubling the national average. As a graduate of the IMC program at SRU, you will be marketable for employment in public relations, marketing, and advertising positions with agencies and corporations.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) International applicants who have not enrolled in any post secondary institution since graduating high school should apply as freshmen. Advanced standing may be considered for those students who have completed IB programs, GCE A-levels (advanced or advanced subsidiary) examinations. English language requirements: Applicants must score a minimum of 61 on the internet based test (iBT), a minimum of 500 on the written test or a minimum of a 173 on the computer based test. Applicants must receive an overall IELTS score at band 6.0 or above.
