The Biology department at SRU has established affiliation with Logan University College of Chiropractic and Palmer College of Chiropractic to offer you the best mix of classroom education and practical experience. If you're interested in a career in chiropractic medicine, this mix of experiential learning and hands-on experience makes all the difference.
WHY CHOOSE BIOLOGY: PRE CHIROPRACTIC?
As a graduate of the Biology: Pre-Chiropractic program at SRU, you will have a distinct edge over other students as you continue your education. Our broad curriculum gives you a firm foundation in biology and our small class sizes and individualized attention ensure that you excel in the field. That, coupled with our affiliations with Palmer and Logan give you the education and experience you need to build your successful chiropractic career.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
During your first three years of this program, you will experience a broad-spectrum curriculum designed to give you a firm background in the fundamentals of biology. Included in this curriculum are classes covering the principles of Biology, Botany, Zoology, Genetics, Microbiology, Chemistry and many more. If a student is granted early acceptance, the first year Doctor of Chiropractic program at either Logan University College of Chiropractic or Palmer College of Chiropractic replaces the last year of undergraduate study. Once you complete your Doctor of Chiropractic, you will be ready to start your career in the Chiropractic profession.

As medical science increases society's ability to live longer, alternative healthcare like chiropractics are increasingly seen as a legitimate way to improve quality of life. With growing demand for alternative or complementary health care, more and more health insurances are offering coverage for treatment. As a result, the demand for chiropractors is growing and they enjoy the highest job security rating of any profession in America.

為來自中國的學生設計 International applicants who have not enrolled in any post secondary institution since graduating high school should apply as freshmen. Advanced standing may be considered for those students who have completed IB programs, GCE A-levels (advanced or advanced subsidiary) examinations. English language requirements: Applicants must score a minimum of 61 on the internet based test (iBT), a minimum of 500 on the written test or a minimum of a 173 on the computer based test. Applicants must receive an overall IELTS score at band 6.0 or above.
