If you have ever wanted to apply your computer knowledge to biology or medicine, the Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology specialization is for you. This specialization exposes students to the field of Bioinformatics through coursework in biology, chemistry, computer science, and mathematics.

With continuous advances in biological technology, there is a growing demand for scientists trained in bioinformatics. This program will prepare you for careers and graduate school in areas of computational biology/ bioinformatics, genomics and proteomics, drug discovery and design, gene annotation, and more.

The broad-based curriculum will give you a firm foundation in biology, chemistry, mathematics, and computer science. This will prepare you for career opportunities or graduate school in bioinformatics.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) International applicants who have not enrolled in any post secondary institution since graduating high school should apply as freshmen. Advanced standing may be considered for those students who have completed IB programs, GCE A-levels (advanced or advanced subsidiary) examinations. English language requirements: Applicants must score a minimum of 61 on the internet based test (iBT), a minimum of 500 on the written test or a minimum of a 173 on the computer based test. Applicants must receive an overall IELTS score at band 6.0 or above.
