The Art program at SRU offers you the opportunity to explore the visual arts through a major or minor.
As an Art major, you'll receive a broad education in the visual arts. While you may choose to major in Art as a foundation for further studies in the field, the coursework also provides opportunities in a number of related fields which makes the program is ideal if you wish to double major.
You can also minor in Art if you are looking to complement your chosen major with expert artistic skillsets. With a minor in Art, you'll have the opportunity to explore a creative discipline while adding to the skills and abilities attained through your primary field of study.

Through internship opportunities, you will gain real-world experience in a variety of external professional venues, developing contacts that will help you to become successful in the field.
CAREERS IN ART
Career opportunities for Arts majors are certainly not limited to fine arts. With the training and skills you receive at SRU, you'll be ready to meet the challenges of the modern workplace where creativity, artistic abilities, critical thinking, and project development are required skills.
Graduates from the SRU Art program find careers in a variety of fields. Note, however, that some opportunities require advanced degrees or certifications. You will find careers in the following fields and beyond:

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) International applicants who have not enrolled in any post secondary institution since graduating high school should apply as freshmen. Advanced standing may be considered for those students who have completed IB programs, GCE A-levels (advanced or advanced subsidiary) examinations. English language requirements: Applicants must score a minimum of 61 on the internet based test (iBT), a minimum of 500 on the written test or a minimum of a 173 on the computer based test. Applicants must receive an overall IELTS score at band 6.0 or above.
