Prepare for a fulfilling career making a difference in the lives of children and adults with communication disorders.
A master’s degree in communication disorders will prepare you for a career as a speech-language pathologist, working with clients across the lifespan in hospital settings, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, preschools, early intervention agencies or in school districts. Therapy work focuses on improving speech, language, literacy and feeding/swallowing skills.

- In this full-time program, explore a variety of learning, clinical and research opportunities in small, personalized classes with individualized attention. We offer classes in three cohorts: Garden City weekday for 15-week semesters and Garden City Sunday and Manhattan Sunday, both for eight-week cycles.
- Work with academic and clinical faculty relentlessly dedicated to student success in a program with proven, innovative leadership in diversity and inclusion.
- Bring research into practice through programs at the Hy Weinberg Center for Communication Disorders, a not-for-profit, full-service speech, language and hearing center.
