The multidisciplinary study of neuroscience draws on the fields of biology and psychology to understand how the brain generates behavior, emotion and cognition. It provides excellent preparation for medical school and graduate studies and offers a gateway to careers in the research industry and fields related to psychology, gerontology, biology, chemistry, physics, physical therapy, speech pathology and audiology, nursing, special education, biomedical engineering, business, and law, among many others.
