As a student in the Teacher as Leader program at the University of Dayton, you'll learn the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue professional development and leadership opportunities outside of building and district administration. Teachers pursuing this degree fulfill roles such as instructional leader, lead teacher, mentor teacher and curriculum committee member.
All candidates in the program must complete the Teacher as Leader core sequence; several options are available for specialty areas. The Teacher as Leader program does not meet the requirements for the State of Ohio-issued Teacher Leader endorsement, which is a post-master's program.
Teacher as Leader (ETL)
The teacher as leader program offers teachers an opportunity to pursue professional development and leadership opportunities outside of building and district administration. Teachers pursuing this degree would likely fulfill roles such as instructional leader, lead teacher, mentor teacher and curriculum committee member. All candidates in this major must complete the teacher leader core sequence; several options are available for specialty areas. 為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) In addition to a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution of higher learning, applicants should have exposure to a variety of research and analytical or critical methods during their undergraduate studies. Applicants should have earned a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade-point average on a 4.0 scale. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): A minimum score of 80 on the Internet-based (IB) test is required for full admission. International English Language Testing System (IELTS): A minimum band score of 6.5 is required for full admission. Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): A minimum score of 60 is required for full admission.
