Our program's flexibility also allows you to include up to a four-course concentration in computer science, engineering or business so you're ready for advancement in your professional work. Your program will include courses that will provide you with a solid background in mathematical, numerical and statistical analyses — and valuable experience in modeling and computation.
We strive to offer you an individualized plan of study that meets your needs and career goals in each of our three areas of study.
Program Details
Mathematics is the study of shape and form, of numbers and patterns, of concrete examples and abstract generalizations. As a discipline, mathematics is not easy to categorize. We offer a Bachelor of Science in mathematics, a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in applied mathematical economics (in collaboration with the Department of Economics and Finance). We also offer a Master of Science in applied mathematics.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) In addition to a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution of higher learning, applicants should have exposure to a variety of research and analytical or critical methods during their undergraduate studies. Applicants should have earned a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade-point average on a 4.0 scale. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): A minimum score of 80 on the Internet-based (IB) test is required for full admission. International English Language Testing System (IELTS): A minimum band score of 6.5 is required for full admission. Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): A minimum score of 60 is required for full admission.
