As an undergraduate student in the Exercise Science program at the University of Dayton, you'll become an expert in health and wellness as you pursue your professional career.
Our program is designed to provide trained personnel capable of conducting adult physical fitness testing, cardiac rehabilitation principles and procedures, and developing personal fitness training programs that involve exercise and physical activity. Professionals often work for corporate, educational, industrial, medical and recreational settings.
This concentration is interdisciplinary and includes courses from chemistry, communication, psychology, sport science and other related areas.
Through rigorous coursework and hands-on experience with our faculty of professionals, you'll learn how to create positive, healthy programs for individuals and communities.
What can I do with this degree?
Your experiences as an Exercise Science major will prepare you to teach your future clients to manage stress, maintain a healthy diet, stay physically fit, cope with general health problems and make a difference in their lives.
Upon receiving your bachelor's degree, you'll be able to pursue a career without the need for additional schooling.
