Program Details
With a diverse curriculum, we provide an excellent education in the theory, history, ethics and practice of communication. This prepares them for careers and leadership in a wide variety of professions.
Program Outcomes
Through the media production concentration, you'll focus on television and radio broadcasting, audio and video production, and multimedia production. You can get a solid grounding in principles and practical application through production, script writing, on-camera performance and carefully designed class activities.
You can build your portfolio and professional experience through internships and by working in our student-run AM-FM radio station, our cable TV station, and by covering athletic and other events on campus and in the community.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): A minimum score of 70 on the Internet-based (iB) test is required for full admission. Please note that many majors require a minimum score of 80. International English Language Testing System (IELTS): A minimum overall band score of 6.0 is required for full admission. Please note that many majors require a minimum overall band score of 6.5. International Test of English Proficiency (iTEP). A minimum overall score of 4.0 is required for full admission. Please note that many majors require a minimum score of 4.5. Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): A minimum score of 50 is required for full admission. Please note that many majors require a minimum score of 60.
