在這里學(xué)什么?
Students in CCSU's Physical Education for Teacher Certification program can become qualified, physical educators for elementary and secondary schools in Connecticut. Students are provided with a variety of classroom learning experiences as well as experimental learning opportunities with partner school districts where they learn up to date teaching techniques and apply them in an authentic environment. Emphasis is placed on integration of cross-curricular teaching, technology, as well as various teaching strategies to improve physical literacy.
Learning Outcomes
By the time of graduation, a student will demonstrate:
- The ability to plan developmentally appropriate physical education lessons.
- The ability to plan developmentally appropriate units of instruction in physical education.
- The ability to implement developmentally appropriate units of instruction in physical education.
- The ability to demonstrate effective teaching strategies in the public school setting at the elementary and secondary levels.

English proficiency score- TOEFL Score: Internet: minimum score 61, Computer: minimum score 173, Paper: minimum score 500. A minimum band score of 5.5 IELTS is required for admissions consideration.
