Accounting is the "language of business." Managers use accounting information to help with planning, controlling, and decision-making. CCSU's accounting program prepares graduates for challenging and rewarding positions as auditors in insurance companies, manufacturing firms, state and federal agencies (including the FBI), and consulting firms.
Learning Outcomes
- AC1 Accounting Problem Solving - Students will have the ability to solve complex accounting problems including analysis, interpretation, and communication of results.
- CS1 Communication Skills - Students will prepare and deliver an effective business document.
- ES2 Ethics and Social Responsibility - Students identify the impact of business actions on multiple stakeholders.
- TS1 Thinking Skills - Students identify appropriate issues for actions when faced with business situations

English proficiency score- TOEFL Score: Internet: minimum score 61, Computer: minimum score 173, Paper: minimum score 500. A minimum band score of 5.5 IELTS is required for admissions consideration.
