The Master’s program in English include options for an emphasis in film studies. We currently offer 18 hours of film studies courses, plus the option to do independent studies for additional hours. For the preparation of college teachers of English, the Department of Literature and Languages offers Master of Arts in English.
Students seeking a master's degree in English with an Emphasis in Film and Media Studies may choose either a 30-semester hour program that includes a thesis (ENG 518 counting for 6 hours) or a 36-hour program that includes an independent research project (ENG 595 counting for 3 hours). This program have two options: thesis and non-thesis.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must have Bachelor's degree, from a regionally accredited university. GMAT/GRE official test scores or 3.0 overall undergraduate GPA or 3.25 on the last 60 hours of coursework toward the bachelor's degree; or completion of a graduate degree from an accredited institution in an area of study approved by the department; or passing score on all parts of the Uniform Certified Public Account Exam. English Language Requirements: TOEFL (IBT at least 79, or CBT at least 213, or PBT at least 550); IELTS (at least overall 6.00 band).
