The M.S. in Education with a specialization in Mathematics Education focuses on preparing educators in the areas of middle, secondary, and postsecondary mathematics. This specialization provides educators with skills for assessment, curriculum development, and instruction in subject areas such as geometry, algebra, and calculus, as well as strategies for developing problem solving skills in students. Course content is research-based and infuses best practices in education.
Coursework in the mathematics education master’s degree program is available online and at the NSU Regional Campuses. The online delivery option allows international students and those who don’t live near our South Florida campuses to receive and submit coursework and interact with participants and professors via the Internet. The site-based delivery option allows students to take classes in the evenings or on weekends in a location near their homes. The distance education option allows busy professionals the option to complete degrees without having to leave their jobs or travel long distances.

為來自中國的學生設(shè)計 Applicants must complete all bachelor's degree requirements before beginning graduate studies or is in the process of completing a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): 550 on the paper-based test, 213 on the computer-based test, or 79 on the internet-based test. (2) International English Language Testing System (IELTS): 6.0 on the test module. (3) Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: 54 on the test module.
