Mission Statement
The Master of Science in Education Law program provides education professionals an understanding of how the law and the field of education intersect. Education professionals in this field will have a basic understanding of various types of legal issues encountered in the workplace. Graduates of the program will display a legal vocabulary and knowledge of the reasoning process for various legal situations.
Learning Outcomes
The Master of Science in Law Program has seven expected learning outcomes for students in each program. Each outcome has multiple enumerated sub-skills. A successful recipient of the Master of Science in Education Law degree is expected to:
- Demonstrate a solid grounding in the basics of education law.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the legal aspects of the structure, history and values underlying educational systems in the U.S.
- Identify situations that frequently present legal issues affecting students, teachers and school administrators.
- Research the broad outlines of the legal question at hand.
- Recognize when a legal issue requires the involvement of a lawyer.
- Discuss legal matters intelligently with a lawyer when called upon to do so in their professional lives.
- Communicate conclusions clearly and logically.

為來自中國的學生設計 Applicants must complete all bachelor's degree requirements before beginning graduate studies or is in the process of completing a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): 550 on the paper-based test, 213 on the computer-based test, or 79 on the internet-based test. (2) International English Language Testing System (IELTS): 6.0 on the test module. (3) Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: 54 on the test module.
