Earn the versatility of a public health degree in our forward-thinking M.P.H. program. Based in the College of Osteopathic Medicine, the degree prepares you to define, critically assess, and resolve public health problems by applying the theories, concepts, and principles of public health. To improve the health of the population through education, research, and service, with emphasis on multicultural and underserved populations. To meet the rapidly changing needs of health service professionals, including preventive medicine specialists, the curriculum accommodates a diversity of backgrounds and individual career goals.
What you'll study: Core courses such as epidemiology, social and behavioral sciences, and environmental health. Elective courses, such as women's health and global health. A required, six-credit public health field experience to enhance your skills. And you can choose community health projects and research as elective projects.
Where it can take you: Demand for public health professionals is growing as a result of emerging and re-emerging diseases, environmental health concerns, health care reform, and sociopolitical factors affecting health worldwide. Professionals with the M.P.H. degree work in a variety of settings and take active roles in shaping the future of health care.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must complete all bachelor's degree requirements before beginning graduate studies or is in the process of completing a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): 550 on the paper-based test, 213 on the computer-based test, or 79 on the internet-based test. (2) International English Language Testing System (IELTS): 6.0 on the test module. (3) Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: 54 on the test module.
