You have a passion for public service – use it to empower your growth as a leader within a nonprofit organization. With more than 1.5 million nonprofits in the United States, professionals like you are in high demand.
The M.P.A. with a concentration in Nonprofit/Nongovernmental Organizations will provide you with a foundation in advanced public administration skills with a focus on nonprofit and nongovernmental organizations. Our curriculum is designed to help you understand the social, economic, and political context in which public decisions are made. You’ll receive instruction from faculty with public administration experience outside of the classroom, and have opportunities to work on real projects for real nonprofit organizations. What you’ll learn is practical and immediately useful.
In addition, you’ll benefit from being part of a program that is accredited by the NASPAA, which is widely considered the global standard in public service education. Upon completion of the program, you’ll have obtained the skills necessary to lead public and community agencies, and advance your professional career.
Program Features
- Courses offered Saturdays on the Davie campus and online.
- Program can be completed in as little as 16 months.
- Program begins two times annually with starts in August and January.
- For international students on a F1 Visa acceptance to the program is contingent upon academic review, course modality, and availability.
