The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting major will give you the skills and practical knowledge that are essential to your success.
Our curriculum will give you a strong foundation in key business areas, such as administration and operations, with a focus on accounting coursework at the introductory and intermediate levels. Upon successful completion of the program, you’ll also be prepared to sit for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam, so you can start growing your career in public, private, or governmental accounting. You can also continue to the M.B.A. graduate business program to take your career to the next level.
As an accounting major, you’ll learn how to navigate the challenges of an always-changing financial economy with ease. NSU’s accounting curriculum prepares you to succeed in a competitive marketplace. Not only will you learn how to create and maintain detailed financial records, but you’ll study the principles of business law, corporate finance and management.
And with NSU’s accelerated “4+1” program, you can begin your graduate studies while working on your undergraduate degree. Upon completion, you’ll emerge with a bachelor’s and master’s degree, and immediate eligibility to sit for your Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam! Your NSU professors will help you every step of the way so that you are ready to launch your accounting career in public, private or governmental accounting.
