Create a customized program of study by drawing on the diversity and strength of Nova Southeastern University. Considering that most careers require multiple skills and perspectives, you'll be ready for the realities of the marketplace. This major is also designed for pre-nursing students. Take ownership of your educational arc with a degree in general studies.
What you'll study: A workshop guides you in creating your multidisciplinary program, as you choose two concentrations (for example, business and performing/visual arts), or pursue the pre-nursing program. A final capstone course brings together your areas of study for a faculty-mentored research project.
How you'll learn more: Challenge your ability to synthesize knowledge and make connections between diverse fields of study. Gain practical skills related to your concentrations in lab-based courses or an internship. Test your hypotheses through research and share your findings with the NSU community.
Where it can take you: Chefs blend flavors to create new delights. Your blend of studies could open new professional channels, such as humor therapy or online art. Alumni of this unique, multidisciplinary major are pursuing careers in aviation management, international relations, medical marketing, and elementary arts education.
