Jump into one of the fastest growing areas of science. Business and industry need you to become a biology graduate, and that need continues to grow.
What you'll study How to protect our fresh water and clean air. How to understand major health issues as they become more urgent. NSU's courses in biological and physical sciences will prepare you for research, teaching, and graduate work in health professions and natural sciences.
How you'll learn more Internships. Hands-on original research. You can earn credits by doing guided research in the fields of biology, genetics, cell biology, endocrinology, and more. Imagine doing research on Gulf Stream ecology, brain structure and function, and human microbiome or shark genetics. All of that is a happening now at NSU. In addition, biology students have opportunities to shadow physicians and nurses in local hospitals.
