Rhetoric explores professional and public leadership grounded in the liberal arts tradition. Students learn the history and practice of producing and interpreting oral and written arguments in the professional and public spheres. Rhetoric majors pursue careers in law, public policy advocacy, nonprofit administration, business, and countless other fields in a globalizing marketplace.
Enhanced Major: Students may take up to 15 additional credits for an enhanced major. An enhanced major allows students to supplement the 30-credit major with additional coursework and internships. This option requires consultation with the Undergraduate Directors.

In general, undergraduate applicants are expected to obtain the U.S. equivalent of a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) for most majors. TOEFL iBT of 70 or above or IELTS of 6.0.
