Put your career into overdrive with our master’s degree in accounting. Whether your goals are to move directly into an accounting career, earn your CPA designation, or pursue more graduate work, our master’s program will give you a solid foundation for achieving them.
TRACKS
Professional Accounting
Ideal for accounting students who are seeking to meet the statutory requirements to sit for the Certified Public Accountant examination, or for the accounting student who want added depth and breadth in professional preparation.
Research and Analytics
This track is designed to provide a solid grounding in research design and analytics used in accounting. This program provides you with the necessary tools for advanced academic study of accounting and the technical competence in both accounting and data analytics for the accounting profession.
Requirements
Another plus, the Miller College of Business and Department of Accounting are both accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International.
Our master’s program in accounting requires a total of 18 hours of accounting courses and 12 hours of approved electives. You will also pick from two concentrations that align with your interests: research and analytics or professional accounting.
Students must maintain a 3.0 grade-point average in all foundation courses and within the 30 semester-hour program. A grade of C or above is required in each course in order to graduate.
