You love the art of winsomely sharing concepts and ideas, persuading a crowd to your point of view, and motivating someone face-to-face. But you also want to take your communication career to the next level. If that describes you, Ball State’s graduate program in communication liberal arts and sciences is a great fit. Whether you want to teach in a college or university, move directly into a professional communication career, or further your doctoral studies, our master’s program will help you get there.
Degree Requirements
You’ll take:
- 12 credits of general communications core courses
- 15 credits specific to your master’s in communication liberal arts and sciences
- nine credits of electives (including the opportunity for a paid professional internship)
As the culmination of your degree, you can either:
- prepare and defend a thesis or research paper
- complete a written and oral comprehensive examination
