Global warming. Drought. Air quality. Conflicts in the Middle East. The physical setting and cultural conditions in every environment greatly influence events and our understanding of them. The study of geography helps us make sense of all these interrelationships.
Pursuing our human geography concentration as part of our bachelor’s degree in geography will prepare you for a career studying the nature of place and analyzing these global relationships. Human geographers study subjects such as how humans use and perceive space and how they create and maintain places.
As a graduate of our program, you’ll be well prepared for a variety of fulfilling, well-compensated roles in both the private and public sectors.
