Ball State’s bachelor’s degree in accounting is an immersive program in the fundamentals of accounting and the related fields of economics, business law, finance, management, marketing, operations, information systems, and more. Our program emphasizes experiential learning, small class sizes, excellent faculty, and a clear pathway after graduation to move directly into a career or pursue graduate work.
A bachelor's degree in accounting is divided into four groups of courses: The University Core Curriculum, business school foundation courses, specialized accounting coursework, and general electives. You’ll begin as a pre-business major and later apply to the accounting program.
