Overview
- You will explore the complex relationship between mind, body and culture; the nature of emotion and the affectivity as well as the exciting new field of “4E cognition”
- Learn from a diverse and dynamic team of academics with expertise from across the fields of Sociology, Anthropology and Philosophy and benefit from our lively and collaborative research culture
- We will train you in a range of philosophical research methods preparing you to carry out your own independent research into the nature of mind, body and culture and their interactions
- Teaching is done in small seminar groups creating a safe environment in which to discuss and debate readings, research and opinions with academics and peers
- Gain key transferable skills in research, communication, self-management and group working which will be valued by employers within a range of professions as well as providing essential training for PhD study

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students need to hold a relevant Bachelors degree with a grade equivalent to a UK Upper Second-class honours (2:1). Degrees must have been completed at a Chinese institution recognised by the Chinese Ministry of Education. Applications are considered on a case-by-case basis, but typical offers for postgraduate programmes require a Chinese Bachelors mark of at least 80%.
