The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) is an exciting and innovative graduate program that prepares students to teach in Texas public schools. By exploring the roles of teacher as researcher, scholar-practitioner, and educational leader, the master's program cultivates a learning community of faculty and students through dialogue and critical inquiry. This program is designed for students who have earned an undergraduate degree but are not certified to teach. In addition to courses that explore educational research, curriculum, and instructional design, students receive certification through a certification sequence.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) To apply for a master’s degree program at SFA, you must meet one of the following requirements: Be in your final year of undergraduate work; Hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Generally, all applicants must have an overall undergraduate grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and a 2.8 on the last 60 hours of undergraduate work. English Language Scores: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score - 79 IBT (Internet-Based) and 550 PBT (Paper-Based); International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score - Overall band 6.5; Pearson Test of English (PTE) score – 53.
