The master’s degree in biotechnology consists of a two-year course of study centered around core courses, research and a thesis.
SFA’s biotechnology graduate program focuses on molecular-based biotechnology. Areas of research include molecular virology, agriculture, cancer research and protein biochemistry. The program prepares students with marketable skills in the fields of molecular biology and biochemistry to provide the academic foundation for further science, medical and professional studies.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) To apply for a master’s degree program at SFA, you must meet one of the following requirements: Be in your final year of undergraduate work; Hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Generally, all applicants must have an overall undergraduate grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and a 2.8 on the last 60 hours of undergraduate work. English Language Scores: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score - 79 IBT (Internet-Based) and 550 PBT (Paper-Based); International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score - Overall band 6.5; Pearson Test of English (PTE) score – 53.
