The theory-composition track within the Master of Music is designed to further develop the creative and analytical skills of students who wish to pursue careers in academia and the professional world. Students may choose to emphasize theory, composition or both. Students entering this degree should have an undergraduate degree in music. All three concentrations within this degree track are available both on campus and online.

為來自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) To apply for a master’s degree program at SFA, you must meet one of the following requirements: Be in your final year of undergraduate work; Hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Generally, all applicants must have an overall undergraduate grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and a 2.8 on the last 60 hours of undergraduate work. English Language Scores: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score - 79 IBT (Internet-Based) and 550 PBT (Paper-Based); International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score - Overall band 6.5; Pearson Test of English (PTE) score – 53.
