The James I. Perkins College of Education (PCOE) includes the Departments of Elementary Education, Human Services, Kinesiology and Health Science, and Secondary Education and Educational Leadership, and the School of Human Sciences. Each offers programs of study in educator certification as well as in various non-teaching programs.
The PCOE is a reflection of the successes and achievements of its students, faculty, administration, and staff. The College is a vibrant and inclusive learning community that embodies access, equity, diversity, cultural relevance, and collaboration in teaching, research, service, and community engagement. Our programs offer real-world knowledge to prepare students to be successful professionals. We offer 27 undergraduate/graduate degree programs and 45 educator certifications. English Language Scores: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score - 79 IBT (Internet-Based) and 550 PBT (Paper-Based); International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score - Overall band 6.5; Pearson Test of English (PTE) score – 53.
