SFA is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) and offers a B.F.A. in Studio Art with an emphasis in ceramics.
The ceramics area been recognized by NASAD as one of the finest in the nation for a university of its size, and ceramics majors work toward professional careers in sculpture and/or vessel making.
In addition to working closely with internationally recognized faculty, students in the ceramics program receive exposure to visiting artists such as Graham Marks, Lisa Orr, Peter Beasecker, Val Cushing, Michelle Conroy, David McDonald, Richard Notkin, Jeff Forster, Brian Molanphy, Chris Gustin and Robby Wood.

The ceramics studio is equipped with the following machines and tools:

English Language Scores: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score - 79 IBT (Internet-Based) and 550 PBT (Paper-Based); International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score - Overall band 6.5; Pearson Test of English (PTE) score – 53.
