Geography courses leading to a Bachelor's Degree cover a wide range of topics including many of the most significant problems facing our planet today - global warming, pollution, and natural resource management. We also have a series of mapping courses and a Geographic Information System Lab.
To graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in geography, a student must complete 37 credit hours of geography courses, consisting of 22 core requirement credit hours and 15300-level or higher credit hours. All students majoring in geography are required to participate in outcomes assessment. Information on the nature of assessment and a calendar of dates for submission of materials are available from the program coordinator.

English language requirement: TOEFL (iBT): Composite score of at least 79, with a minimum of 14 in reading, TOEFL (PBT): Composite score of at least 550, with a minimum of 48 in reading, IELTS: Composite score of at least 6.5, with a minimum of a 5.5 in Reading and 5 in Writing, Pearson PTE: Composite score of at least 55.
