The M.A.T. in History program is designed primarily for elementary and secondary teachers of history and social studies. The M.A.T. degree does not, however, lead to a Nevada public schools teaching certificate for grades K-12; such certification is available only through the College of Education. Most students in the M.A.T. program already have received this certification. Graduate students looking to expand their knowledge in a particular historical background while advancing their teaching profession would benefit from the M.A.T. in History degree.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited institution. Eligibility for admission with a 3-year bachelor's degree are determined on a case by case basis. Minimum grade point average (on a 4.0 scale): 2.75 for a master’s degree. TOEFL: 550 (paper) or 79 (internet), IELTS: 6.5 (academic version).
