The study of higher education leadership allows individuals to examine all areas of higher education, to develop skills in research and analysis, and to prepare to enter challenging and influential roles in many areas.
Our graduates have had distinguished careers in both academics and administration in Nevada and across the nation. They have held such positions as professor, department chair, program director, financial aid officer, dean, chief diversity officer, university vice president and college president. How you will use the skills and knowledge you acquire in an educational leadership program depends on you.
The M.A. in Educational Leadership require students to develop a program of study in conjunction with their advisor and committee that includes a minimum of 30 graduate credits, at least 15 of which must be at the 700-level.
Completion Requirements for the Master's Degree include:
- Filing a program of study, approved by the Graduate School
- Maintaining a 3.0 GPA in all graduate work
- Successful completion of a culminating comprehensive examination
A minimum of 30 credits are required. All degree candidates are required to complete one or more research courses. In addition, all students are required to take 1 to 3 credits of comprehensive examination which may be above the 30 credits of approved courses. A maximum of six graduate credits of S/U grades may be applied toward a master's degree.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited institution. Eligibility for admission with a 3-year bachelor's degree are determined on a case by case basis. Minimum grade point average (on a 4.0 scale): 2.75 for a master’s degree. TOEFL: 550 (paper) or 79 (internet), IELTS: 6.5 (academic version).
