The mission of the University of Nevada, Reno counseling program is to educate competent, culturally aware, ethical counselors who will provide exceptional services in both public and private settings to meet the needs of a increasingly diverse society.
Choosing a master's program is an important decision, which is why finding a program that is flexible and fits your interests in life is important. The counseling program within the College of Education & Human Development offers a master’s degree (M.A.) in Counseling with three possible majors:
- School Counseling
- Clinical Mental Health Counseling
- Marriage and Family Counseling.

為來自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited institution. Eligibility for admission with a 3-year bachelor's degree are determined on a case by case basis. Minimum grade point average (on a 4.0 scale): 2.75 for a master’s degree. TOEFL: 550 (paper) or 79 (internet), IELTS: 6.5 (academic version).
