All students complete a core within Geography that provides a broad background in the discipline. The Bachelor of Science in Geography emphasizes proficiency in physical geography, geospatial methods, and human/environment interactions and develops skills in mathematics and statistics. All students are required to have a minor. Students are encouraged to develop with their advisors an individualized program of study within these degrees. The department emphasizes the integration of human and physical geography and encourages the use of geospatial technologies (GIS, Remote Sensing, and Cartography). Our specialties include the American West, biogeography, climatology, cultural historical geography, land use planning and water resources.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) To be admitted to an undergraduate degree program as a regular freshman student, you must be a graduate from an approved or accredited high school (GED certificate may not be used for admission). Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 61 (iBT-Internet-Based Test) or 500 (Paper-Based Test), International English Language Testing System (IELTS - must be academic version) with an equivalency score of 6. Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic with an equivalency score of 57.
